August 16th: Meeting of African Benedictines
From August 10th to 16th Peramiho was the venue of a meeting of African Benedictine monks from Togo, DRC, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, South Africa and all four abbeys in Tanzania (Mvimwa, Hanga, Ndanda and Peramiho). For the first time ever they discussed the question of the relationship between Benedictine life and African culture.

March 2nd: Jatropha Project
To better adapt our power supply to the realities of our country and to reduce the damage done to the climate, we started a project using jatropha plants.
