St. Plasido
is a formation house of Peramiho Abbey for the beginners of monastic life. Particularly for the Postulant and Candidates.

Why St. Plasido

According to the tradition taken from St. Gregory he says:
St. Mauro and St. Plasido were the first followers of St. Benedict and their behavior was very good. We have decided to choose one of them so that he can be a model for beginners of monastic life and also he assist them in prayer and encourage them when they encounter problem and doubt on their way to perfection.

Admission

Those male young people, who feel to be called by God and they want to join our community, they are required to write a letter of application addressing to the Vocation Director of Peramiho Abbey through their Parish Priests or their assistant. Then we invite them to come and see our monastic environment for three weeks, so that they can learn from us and also we can learn from them. In short it is the time of knowing each other.
