March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation, was the date chosen to do what we had never done before, make a recording of our music. What intense work preceded that date, even to the point of wanting to give up. But the Lord gave us endurance, perseverance and a glimmer of hope. Our goal is to share a bit of our gifts with those who share their gifts with us.
The music was carefully selected to express both our Tanzanian culture and our monastic prayer. Native drums and other native instruments are used throughout the CD.
Unfortunately, in the
production of the cover, the order of the music is not listed correctly.
