3. Umeniepusha mimi, nawatu wenye hasira, nakushukuru ee Mungu wangu   

4. Umeniokoa mimi kwenye ajali barabarani nakushukuru ee Mungu wangu.
   

I WILL THANK THE LORD

Refrain:   I will thank the Lord, God of old.  I will sing for you ,my God.  It is you who take care of my life, now and forever.  I bring to you my prayers and requests.

1. I will thank you, Lord, for the wonders you have done.   I have nothing to give to you;

2. I will glorify you.  You are the Lord, my God; you guide me.  

3. You have kept me safe from angry people.  I will thank you, Lord.   

4. You have protected me from dangers on the roads.  I will thank you Lord my God.

1. Ich will dir danken, Herr, fuer alles Gute, das du an mir getan hast.     

2. Ich kann dir nichts vergelten, deshalb werde ich dich preisen, Du bist mein Gott, der mich leitet.    

3. Du hast mich bewahrt vor zornigen Menschen, ich danke dir, mein Gott.  

4. Du hast mich behuetet vor Unfaellen auf der Strasse, ich danke dir, meine Gott.
